Unveiling Event Scheduled for the 2012 Cedar Valley Visitors Guide Cover
December 2, 2011, Waterloo, Iowa – Join the Cedar Falls and Waterloo Visitors Bureaus for a special unveiling event for the 2012 Visitors Guide Cover. The event will take place Wednesday, December 14 from 3:00-5:30 p.m. at the Waterloo Center for the Arts.
This year’s cover features custom artwork by two of the Cedar Valley’s well-known and accomplished artists, Gary Kelley and Paco Rosic.
“We are very pleased to have a piece of art from two of our local artists on the cover of our upcoming Visitors Guide. It is a fantastic representation of the communities and a wonderful painting,” said Aaron Buzza, Executive Director of the Waterloo Convention and Visitors Bureau. “The unveiling event will be a fun way to show off this unique artwork, and those in attendance will have a great opportunity to be the first to see it, and speak to the artists as well.”
The event will be open to individuals through invite only from 3:00-4:00 p.m. and to the general public from 4:00-5:30 p.m. There will be hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar.
Prints of the cover will be available for purchase as well as a number of limited edition copies signed by both artists.
